"Worship" sounds like a religious word. The truth is, atheists and agnostics also worship. Man is a creature built to worship. The things is, unless you do it in Spirit and in Truth, as Jesus says in John 4:24, your worship is in vain. Vain worship ends in bitterness, lack of peace, heightened worldly passions, and leaving you totally defeated. Jesus came to testify to the truth (John 18:37) to save you from yourself and from the evil influences around you.
