White Light / Black Rain (2007) Kicking off our new Topic is Jules with 'White Light / Black Rain,' a documentary about the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima at the tail end of World War Two. The controversy as to whether we should have used the weapons is secondary to the suffering of the people who were effected. Commonly is it the perspective from the sky that we tend to focus on in terms of the nuclear bomb. It is the artwork and recounting of eyewitnesses that lets this documentary show you the effects of the bomb from the ground.
