New Track, New Challenges

Mike, Nate and Amanda discuss the unprecedented race weekend at Naval Base Coronado. The weekend was met with challenges such as vent covers coming loose, cars moving the walls after hard hits, long cautions and a fan who climbed onto the race track during the red flag. Heading into Sonoma NASCAR announced a change to the bumpers for short tracks allowing it to crush more and reduce the impact drivers feel in the car.
