New year, new Steves

Every Saturday at 4:07pm the meeting of the Steves commences. He says the lakes have been packed with plenty of drivers and that it’s hard to find solitude on the ice. Steve Thomson isn’t comfortable with any big rigs on the ice and says he will stick to portables and snowmobiles. Carney says all the traffic brings tons of noise on the ice especially without a lot of snow. Carney also details how disruptive wind can be to ice fishing but anticipates a big week ahead due to calmer weather.
