God may well do things differently, for he is not limited in any way, but His character cannot change. He cannot stop being God. He cannot improve or decline. He simply cannot change. You can count on Him to be the same today as he was in eternity past, or as he will be in a million years' time. Therefore God's promises to us will never change either. They are promises you can always count on. In today's world that is something very unique.
