New Year's Prayer for God's Best! His Best Provision and Protection for you and our nation.

Our Father and our God, as we stand at the beginning of this new year we confess our need of Your presence and Your guidance as we face the future.We each have our hopes and expectations for the year that is ahead of us—but You alone know what it holds for us, and only You can give us the strength and the wisdom we will need to meet its challenges. So help us to humbly put our hands into Your hand, and to trust You and to seek Your will for our lives during this coming year.I thank you that you have examined our hearts and know everything about us. You know when we sit down or stand up. You know our thoughts from afar off. You see us and we traveled and you know when we rested home. You know everything we need and everything the New Year brings. You know what I'm going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and you watch out behind me. You place your hand a blessing on our heads for this new year. You love us unconditionally simply because he loves. Such knowledge is too wonderful, to great to comprehend with our finite minds. So you have given Your Spirit to Us to testify with our own spirit All the Goodness You Bestow upon Us. (Psalms 139:1-7)I thank you for being with us and never leaving yes nor for sake and even caring when we are weary, you give us rest. I thank you father that just as you have said we can walk into this new year knowing that Every Step of the Way, you are holding our right Hand, Saying to us, ‘Fear Not, I will Help you.”-Isa 41:13 And because we know that you love, we know that you work through all things, and use them for good and to bring you glory, whom we love. (Romans 8:28) We confess our need for you that we are fully dependent upon you; dismissing lots upon ourselves, and self-governance, and relinquishing our carnal ego to you.I ask for the fresh filling of your Spirit. We ask that you would make all things new, in our hearts, in our minds, in our lives, for this coming year. I pray for your refreshing over us and for your deep peace within, and that you fill us full with your joy as our strength.We ask for your wisdom, strength and power to be constantly present in us. And working effectively through us to bring you glory in the church by Christ Jesus.I asked that you make us strong in the Lord and the power of your might, (Ephesians 6:10-12) that we may be courageous and confident in the road ahead of us. Give us your thoughts, feelings, mind and emotions, (1 Corinthians 2:16) That we may really come to know practically, through experience for ourselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that we may be filled through all our being with all the fullness of God, have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! (Ephesians‬ ‭3:19‬)Give us each day your miraculous provisions and All the things we need, fill us with with all your most holy attributes, fruits and gifts; so that by the action of your power that is at work with in us, we are able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams. (Ephesians‬ ‭3:20)‬ So others will be drawn to you through Christ in us directing our footsteps and giving us the power and desire both to will and to do your good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13)I ask for your hand to cover us and keep us far away from all evil, and the scheming's and the methods of the enemy; that you would hedges before and behind, and above and beneath, so we are safe in your hands, covered by the blood of Jesus to be a blessing to others.Holy Spirit lead us each step of this New Year. I ask for you to guide our decisions and turn our hearts to deeply desire you above all else. I ask that you will open doors needing to be opened and close the ones needing to be shut tightly. I ask that you Prepare our Step into new Year, Your Light Shining Upon you and You Directing your Steps and Making Them Secure, that You Brightens the Path Before us, and we Fed on your Faithfulness and taste that the LORD is Good. And Be Thankful.-2 Cor 4:6; Jn 1:9; Pro 16:9; Ps 37:3, 23, 2 Thes 5:18I ask that you would help us release our grip on the things to which you’ve said “no,” “not yet,” or “wait.” We ask for help to pursue you first, above every dream and desire you’ve put within our hearts. Keep your words of truth planted firmly within us, help us to keep focused on what is pure and right, and give us the power to be obedient to your word.I ask for your grace and favor. I pray for your blessings to cover our families. I pray that you would help us to prosper in all you are leading us to do, and bring every plan you have birthed in our hearts to fulfillment. Let us Not Fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and our definite requests, with thanksgiving, continue to make our wants known to You. And ask that Your peace which transcends all understanding mount guard over our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)May we make a difference in this world, for your glory and purposes. Thank you for setting your way before us and guiding us with your hand upon us, so we know all our plans will succeed because your plan are our plans. Ang LORD cause us to focus on whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things that we your minds on them. (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬‬We pray for our nation and its leaders during these difficult times, and for all those who are seeking to bring peace and justice to our dangerous and troubled world. We pray especially for Your protection on all those who serve in our armed forces, and we thank You for their commitment to defend our freedoms, even at the cost of their own lives. Be with their families also, and assure them of Your love and concern for them.Bring our divided nation together, and give us a greater vision of what You would have us to be. Your Word reminds us that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12).As we look back over this past year we thank You for Your goodness to us—far beyond what we have deserved. May we never presume on Your past goodness or forget all Your mercies to us, but may they instead lead us to repentance, and to a new commitment to make You the foundation and center of our lives this year.And so, our Father, we thank You for the promise and hope of this new year, and we look forward to it with expectancy and faith. This I ask in the name of our Lord and Savior, who by His death and resurrection has given us hope both for this world and the world to come.
