New years Special: Crohn's Disease and meeting my Idol Amy Dowden - With Ingrid

In today's episode I am joined with Ingrid who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2019 but had several complications in 2020 and was really ill. Ingrid reached out to come on her first podcast as we spoke when she was ill and wasn't in the right place mentally it was great to speak to Ingrid to start off a new year!  Some of the things we talk about are diagnosis where we it took Ingrid a while to get diagnosed up to 6 months we share our diagnosis stories, when diagnosed we mention we was only given a leaflet and told to go home. We talk about are symptoms leading up to diagnosis Ingrid's main ones were weightless she didn't experienced any loss of blood, Ingrid also had stabbing stomach pain.  We also talk about surgery, our reaction to Infliximab with both different experiences. We both talk about our hobbies, Ingrid loves Ice skating. Ingrid also mentions about a study she took part in she talks  more about that.  Ingrid talks about the impact mental health has on you with Crohn's Disease, this is a sensitive topic but an important one!
