In today' last New years special of the year and the start of 2023 I am joined with Amy who has IBD Crohn's/Colitis more Ulcerative Colitis though. Amy talks about her diagnosis with IBD. Amy was diagnosed in 2020 her diagnosis was pretty quick 3 weeks after the diagnosis she got a stoma bag, she talks about the whole experience and how hard it was for her.  In this episode we talk about fistula's, fatigue and travelling with IBD. Amy also talks about her skin condition Pyoderma Gangrenosum Amy's explains what it is, it's a rare skin condition which causes painful ulcers, you cannot can't from another person, this was very interesting to talk about. Amy's says her IBD is under control and the moment as having a stoma has saved her life and put her in a better place, the main focus is her skin condition.  So much fun, we talk about hobbies, which Amy's is sports and fitness and going to the gym when she can!  Some great advise from Amy, if you notice something is wrong get it checked out early is important, Thank you Amy, you did great on your first podcast!
