New years specials: The force of IBD - With Ryan

Today we go to Hamilton in Scotland to be joined with Ryan for the penultimate New years specials, Ryan has IBD Diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when he was 17 years old, but now he will have a colonoscopy to see if he may have Crohn's Disease too! This is Ryan's first ever podcast, trust me this is a great episode!  Ryan talks about his journey and how his Dad and Uncle also have IBD and how they have really supported him during his diagnosis to now, we also talk about how our hobbies really help us especially if we are in a lot of pain, so in this episode, we talk about football which is a great interesting, travelling which is really interesting. We talk about how much we love food! but we talk about what we can eat and what we can't! We also say you don't have to be in pain to be in a flare, inflammation levels can be out of range, Ryan really enjoyed coming on the podcast as he dosen't get to speak to many people who are on similar medication and suffer from similar things,  Great advise by Ryan too, "it's not the end of the world, keep smiling!"
