What this episode covers
When we consider the extent of the richness of God’s blessing to all mankind. It increases the wonder that more people do not render thanksgiving and praise to Him. The Psalmist says it best. Psalm 92:4-5. Isaiah has been called the Royal Prophet by some, the Evangelical Prophet by others. Both are right. For we speak of the King in His Beauty and of the good tidings for the poor, He is the Evangelical prophet. In Isaiah 1-39, we have the essential and acquired glories of Christ. From Isaiah 40-66 We have brought before us the moral perfection of Christ, The faithful Servant, the Righteous Servant the Anointed Servant. The one in whose hand the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper. Isaiah 53:10b. Isaiah 52. The remnant express their joy and is encouraged because of Him. “How beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of Him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth salvation, that unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.” We too can rejoice like the shepherds, Simeon and Anna about Him. Luke 2. His moral perfection comes before us. His walk and ways of which His feet speak of. A light to lighten the nation and the glory of his people Israel. Luke 2:32. What He brings: Luke 4:17-22 — The glad tiding. John 1:14-18 — Grace and Truth and the revelation of the Father. Mark 10:45— A Life of Service. Acts 10:38 — He went about doing good. A Life of Love Titus 2:11,12—The grace of God that bringeth salvation.
