New York Mets 2026 Season Crisis: Mendoza, Stearns, and the Soto Problem

Juan Soto has a family suite, $765 million, and apparently the keys to the entire franchise — and the Mets still can't score a run. EL G., Phil-O, Joey and Dev break down what's actually going wrong in Flushing: Is Soto calling the shots? Was letting Alonso walk the move that broke this lineup? And is Carlos Mendoza already on borrowed time? Dev's been sounding the alarm since the offseason, Joey's officially in Mets hibernation, Phil's hanging on by a thread, and EL G. is doing his best to keep the faith — even after 20-plus scoreless innings. The debate gets real: send Benge back down, bring up Christian Scott, and whatever you do, don't rush Tong. If you're a Mets fan who's been staring at the standings and questioning your life choices, this one's for you.Note: language gets colorful in this one. It's all good, bro — but maybe not one for the office speakers.
