New York’s recycling data is in the dumps, according to a new audit by the state comptroller. WFUV’s Lainey Nguyen has more. The Bronx Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Optimum to give Bronx businesses around $150,000 in grants. Tahlia Pearson has more on how the grant can help improve small businesses that would most benefit from the extra funds. New York families are receiving food assistance to make sure no kid goes hungry in the summer time. Governor Kathy Hochul highlighted today that this summer, more than 1.8 million children have received food assistance through the summer EBT program. The World Cup might have ended, but its spirit continues in New York City. WFUVs Mia Barth takes us to a park in the Bronx, where the community is channeling it into a work of art.
