New Yorkin korkeiden rakennusten hiilidioksidipäästöt laskuun Lahtelaisen Oilonin lämpöpumpputeknologialla. Viime perjantaina Miller Proctor Nickolas Inc:lle (MPN:lle) myönnettiin Empire Technology Prize, New Yorkin osavaltion kestävää kehitystä edistävä palkinto. Ratkaisussa hyödynnetään laajasti Oilonin lämpöpumpputeknologiaa. Empire Technology Prize -palkinnon tarkoituksena on vähentää kasvihuonepäästöjä, joita syntyy New Yorkin korkeiden rakennusten lämmityksestä. Korkeat rakennukset ovat kaupungin suurin yksittäinen kasvihuonepäästölähde. Esimerkiksi jo pelkän New York Cityn rakennuksista 90 prosenttia vaatii lämmitysremonttia vuoteen 2050 mennessä.
