New Zealand Guard Joins Pepperdine

Pepperdine just got a global guard in Dontae Russo-Nance, a six-foot-three dynamo from New Zealand with three pro seasons under his belt across Australia and home soil. Coach Aldrich is buzzing—calling him a physical, versatile scorer who’ll make an instant splash. Russo-Nance lit up the Manawatu Jets last season, averaging 18.2 points, 5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.5 steals while earning top guard honors in New Zealand. Before Australia, he was already a standout, nabbing New Zealand NBL Youth Player of the Year in 2022 and suiting up for the senior national team at FIBA Asia Cup. He’s got the experience, the stats, and the hunger—ready to bring international fire to the Waves. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
