As part of our mini 'New Zealand' series I chat with my son Brendan Canty and his girlfriend, Ayla Amano on their very last day of quarantine in the Holiday Inn in Auckland. They describe the detailed routine, the testing, the food, the exercise, the room confinement, the transparency and the lengths that the government go to, ensuring that any trace of Covid is caught and does not enter the country, keeping their citizens healthy and safe and enjoying living normal lives.
