An Odyssey Sound Session with NewDad. NewDad are the Irish alternative rock band from Galway making our favourite music right now. Formed in 2018, Julie Dawson (lead vocals and guitar), Fiachra Parslow (drums), and Sean O'Dowd (guitar) met in high school where they started playing music together. The band has supported Fontaines D.C., Inhaler and Paolo Nutini, and played festivals including Pitchfork Musical festival, Green Man Festival and more. After releasing a no-skips debut album last year, the band has reached new heights on the recently released EP, Safe.
