Newly elected Johannesburg Mayor outlines his plans for the city

SAfm — Johannesburg mayor Geoff Makhubo says negotiations are under way with other parties to form a new executive of the City. Makhubo was speaking during a media briefing in Johannesburg this morning where he outlined his vision for the City. He was elected Joburg mayor yesterday after winning by 137 votes. Makhubo beat the DA's Funzela Ngobeni who got 101 votes and the EFF's Musa Novela who scored 30 votes. Makhubo says the new executive is expected to be announced this weekend .
