Newman Night: "Helping Students in Distress"

November 21, 2019. Newman Night talk (poor audio) given by Maria Flukas on how to help ourselves and others when in distress. Maria shares how emotions are not good and bad, and helps reflect on things that are helpful and not helpful to say when encountering someone in distress. Lastly, she highlights that most people are not therapists and therefore their role is to not try to be one, but encourage the person to connect with one.
