A woman whose body was found offshore near San Diego last week has been identified by authorities as a former Anchorage woman. More than two years after a Wasilla man was found shot and buried on his own property, the suspect in his killing has vanished while awaiting trial under electronic monitoring. The Anchorage Police Department confirmed Monday that officer Charles Bowser is no longer with the department following his DUI case involving an alleged off-duty drunk driving incident in a patrol vehicle earlier this year.
