A jail in Canada detained a pigeon that was carrying a backpack filled with meth. The pigeon was “apprehended” with a trap on a wall at the Pacific Institution correctional facility. Officials say that people using drones to try to smuggle drugs into prisons isn’t unusual but using a pigeon with a backpack is new.
