[News] Three Appeals Courts Have Now Rejected the Same Way of Keeping U.S. Attorneys in Office Without the Senate

The Ninth Circuit disqualified Nevada's top federal prosecutor on August 17 and the Second Circuit ruled the same way about New York's four days later, so three federal appeals courts have now held that the Attorney General cannot install a U.S. Attorney by designating that person first assistant to an office that is already empty.
