Newtype Rhythms #12 - Special Guest: Toshiya Tsunoda

This week's episode (presented by https://soundcloud.com/inverted-audio) comes from one of the most intriguing artists on https://soundcloud.com/sennilorenzo's https://soundcloud.com/presto-records label, Toshiya Tsunoda. The Yokohama-based sound artist has been making his mark in the world of field recordings, with his attention to detail being second-to-none. Coming from a visual arts background, Tsunoda understands the entirety of the sounds he presents -- the sounds themselves occupying a space that creates visual accompaniment for a listener almost instantaneously. However, we wondered if Tsunoda-san would do things a bit differently, even more left-field than he usually does -- and that he did, by making a mix of [almost-entirely] '70s-era European prog-rock. Tsunoda-san jumped at the opportunity to present something unique from his collection of records and he certainly did not disappoint. He even provided a timestamp of tracks with his tracklist!
