Next Level Thinking

from Coach Business · host Caryn Gillen

"If I think I am my brain, then I am a victim to it all the time." Next Level Thinking has really shown up as a thing in coaching and in the online space these last couple of years. In one of my small groups, we had a really interesting conversation about it recently. Questions that came up were: "How do I know what next level thinking is? Am I there now/Is this it? Who decides what next level thinking is?"  And, I think there's two sides to it:  1). The really useful side where we go inward and really think about and analyze our thoughts - making that differentiation between who we are and what we habitually think.  2). The other side, that was created as a marketing tool to establish the gap between where you are now and where X person's product could potentially take you. It's a cool idea, if it works for you. If it doesn't work for you, put it down. It does not have to be a weapon you use against yourself.  Next Level Thinking does not have to be hard. Let it be what it is for you. And have some fun!  You always have access to thinking about your thoughts and it opens up so much more in life. If you are going to put yourself out there, try new things, be creative... you will come up against your own brain - it happens.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, that is exactly what's supposed to happen. It's also an opportunity for "Next Level Thinking". And you have the capacity to do that right now.  When we give ourselves the gift of being willing to neutralize how our brains work, so that we can see them with genuine curiosity, that's when the good stuff happens. :) ----- Do you have some things you want to accomplish this year? Do you have a plan? What if there was even more to discover? 🤔 Join me on a 30-day journey to clarity. 30 days of powerful questions from me. It's free and you would be surprised how many nuggets you can mine with just one question from me!
