Why do I need Spiritual Disciplines in my life? If the end times are coming, what should I be doing? What spiritual disciplines should I have? We are told that we should grow in number. Jesus told us to go make disciples in all nations in The Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20. We could offer free benefits to get people to church, but then the only reason they are coming is to consume or benefit. We could be there to put major guilt trips on people, but God loves you anyway and it’s not tied to our performance. We could just kidnap people and share the gospel them or we could just hold a service at a stadium. We could do something insane on YouTube and go viral, but none of these things are what Christ intended for his church. The number people in church is not what God is interested in, but in our spiritual disciplines throughout the week.
