Nextech3D.ai provides update in acquisition of remaining ARway shares, strengthening AI platform

Nextech3D.ai CEO Evan Gappelberg joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company's proposed acquisition of all outstanding shares of ARway Corporation that it does not already own, following the recent signing of a definitive agreement between the two companies. On a standalone basis, ARway generated approximately $1.58 million in revenue and $1.52 million in gross profit for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting the strength of its augmented reality navigation business. Nextech currently owns approximately 40% of ARway's outstanding shares, while management and insiders hold an additional 20%. Upon completion of the transaction, expected in October 2026, ARway will become a wholly owned subsidiary, bringing its technology, intellectual property, and event technology assets fully under the Nextech umbrella. Gappelberg said combining ARway with Map Dynamics will create a more unified AI-powered platform for the global events industry. Management expects the integration to accelerate product innovation, eliminate duplicate overhead, improve operational efficiency, and expand recurring SaaS revenue opportunities.
