It takes a second. Nobody knows what to say. I don't know what to say. But the thing about and not to compare is when Pat Mahomes was in college, he was considered a boom or bust type of draft pick where Caleb Williams is the unquestioned number one.

Caleb Williams, again, if you need a court, now I put it to you like this. If there is a top team that already has an established quarterback or quarterback in the future and decides to pass on Caleb Williams, I understand that too. Because you know, if you want to nitpick and throw questions into the game right now, I get it. Ain't look good, people.
I feel you. But what Shelton said, there's enough film to say against some part teams. He has some quality wins too in the past this year. We're talking this year, it ain't been the best competition too.
He doesn't have a defense that he has, which never affects the game as well. People don't think on that level, but the whole team aspect of it affects the game. But I still think he showed us enough. He showed me flashes with some of them passes this year that he's made.
I can think of a couple of them where they showed him and broke him down. I'm like, oh my gosh. He's throwing the pass or the pass or the one. Not the most impressive pass of me was incompletion.
It was a crazy throw. It was one of them sidearm throws. A crazy sidearm throw. Yeah, it was incompletion.
He's seen dropping pass. But it hit him in the hands. But the angle that he threw it at, the velocity, the impact of the play, it was actually, it was a two-point diversion. But it should have been a completion.
It would have been one of the greatest passes I've seen in college this year. Just college this year. But he got skills, bro. He got it.

And then some of the other games against so part talent or teams, he showed that he can wheel his team back to take leads. And a lot of my... A lot of fights. That's two games you put them in these situations.
It's just like when I used to look at Johnny Mazzella, some of these other quarterback that were lighting everybody else up, as soon as they get to the SEC, everything looked different, bro. So I'm just saying when those windows are tight, and these guys are not running wide open, it's just different, bro. But you know what kind of, there's two sides to that. So I don't disagree with what you're saying, but at the same time, the other guys, right?
Because the quarterback, his job is to get you in and out of the right play and to make plays and to get the ball to you. When the others or the level of competition is elevated, it doesn't mean that his others that he's throwing you are elevated, right? So the quarterback can be amazing. The quarterback can do his job, but if the others can't rise to the occasion, it doesn't matter what the quarterback does.
You still got to catch the rock. You still got to make a play. You still got to juke this guy. You still got to sit for him, that guy.
And if those guys aren't making those types of plays, I think the thing when you break down film for college quarterbacks is how does he see the field? What is the arm talent and is he making the right reads? If those three things are yes, yes and yes, it doesn't come down the wins and losses in evaluating should he be the number one picker now? Because it's not the NFL.
The talent across the board is not even. So if we're analyzing this one guy, then we just need to analyze what that person is doing. What Caleb Williams has done looks like the best quarterback in college football. All right, Marcel, I think Caleb is fine.

This is the first time that I looked at Brot Purdy in question. Okay. Can you elevate when the team needs you to? Because this is the part of quarterback that we talk about that sometimes is not measurable, right?
Because a couple of weeks ago we saw Pat Mahomes have one of the worst games against the Jets. It's the one to gain. Because when you meet them to win the game, the greatest quarterbacks figure it out. Like Desmaritter.
