At 7:45 the Bengals hold off the Dolphins 31 to 24 behind four Joe Burrow touchdown passes, but Miami running for 217 yards leaves Dave leery of the Cincinnati defense. At 11:18 the Packers crush the Bears 31 to 7 as Jordan Love throws for 367 yards, and Dave admits he is holding the scissors over his Bears division ticket. At 18:41 Drake Maye throws four touchdowns in a 45 to 17 Patriots blowout of the Raiders, and at 23:47 the Vikings move to 5 and 0 by holding the Saints to 142 total yards, even as Dave keeps waiting for the fraud alarm to sound. At 28:00 the Giants and Commanders finish 27 to 27 after Washington blows a 14 point home lead with brutal clock management, and Dave would upgrade New York and downgrade Washington going forward. At 32:52 the Jets beat the Browns 17 to 12 in what Dave calls a battle of which team was less bad, and at 36:07 Jaylen Warren piles up 188 scrimmage yards as the Steelers beat the Colts 34 to 22. At 39:02 Dave cashes his best bet as the 49ers win 32 to 29 at Seattle to stay unbeaten, with Mike Evans going for 113 yards while the Seahawks commit four turnovers and settle for five field goals. At 44:01 the Lions hammer the Cardinals 45 to 21 behind 151 rushing yards from Jahmyr Gibbs, cashing a Munaf team total, though Dave is still not buying the Detroit defense. At 48:58 the Broncos score the final 13 points to keep the Chargers winless, and Dave likes the Chargers plus 8.5 at Kansas City. At 53:41 Tyler Huntley leads the Ravens to a 30 to 23 overtime win in Atlanta after Michael Penix Jr. goes down, and at 56:22 the guys survey a wide open NFC South where Dave could be talked into a small Buccaneers futures bet. At 57:47 the Monday Night Football preview begins, with the Rams laying 3 to 3.5 and a total of 54.5. Dave says when in doubt take the points, backs Josh Allen plus more than a field goal and likes Keon Coleman props, while Munaf leans over the total, citing a Bills team that is 25 and 8 straight up and 21 and 12 against the spread off a loss since 2019.
