The victory came on a game-winning 49-yard field goal as time expired, capping a tightly contested matchup. The win provided a big boost to Carolina’s momentum and demonstrated their ability to compete against top opponents in the NFL. The Washington Commanders suffered a tough 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last night. Quarterback Jayden Daniels returned to the lineup after missing a game and completed 16 of 22 passes for 153 yards with one interception. He also added 51 rushing yards and scored a touchdown, providing one of the few bright spots for Washington’s offense. Unfortunately, Daniels’ night ended early when he dislocated his left elbow while being sacked by linebacker Drake Thomas with just over seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
