Dave jokes that the trend reaches back to Mark Brunell and still backs the Jaguars in a last possession game fueled by Liam Coen and the Travis Hunter storyline, while Sleepy and Munaf pass on the side and lean over 51.5. At 13:12 the panel lands its strongest opinion of the week on the Rams at the Eagles. Sleepy says sell Philly, arguing that Jalen Hurts struggles without Goedert, the offensive line cannot pass block and the Eagles may not reach 10 points. Munaf adds that the Rams are 10 and 3 straight up and against the spread as a road favorite off a loss since 2018, and Dave believes the Rams should be favored by six. At 28:50 Sunday Night Football brings the Detroit Lions to Carolina as 3.5 point favorites, and with Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson on injured reserve and Xavier Legette and Damien Lewis out, the crew backs the Lions team total over 27.5 along with Sam LaPorta and Amon Ra St. Brown overs, while watching a rainy forecast that could move the total.
