Carsen Carels goes #6 to Calgary, THE KRAKEN ARE ON THE CLOCK! With the 7th overall pick, Seattle selects Chase Reid! Benton, Ian, Fitz and Al all react to the pick. He'll play at Michigan State this year, so he won't make an immediate impact, but he was clearly the best player available. While it might take Reid a few years to get to Seattle, the experience in college will benefit him - and the Kraken - more than playing in the minors by a mile.
