Neh 9:23 "You multiplied their children as the stars of heaven, and you brought them into the land that you had told their fathers to enter and possess."你也使他们的子孙多如天上的星，带他们到你所应许他们列祖进入得为业之地。Neh 9:24 "So the descendants went in and possessed the land, and you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hand, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would."这样，他们进去得了那地，你在他们面前制伏那地的居民，就是迦南人；将迦南人和其君王，并那地的居民，都交在他们手里，让他们任意而待。Neh 9:25 "And they captured fortified cities and a rich land, and took possession of houses full of all good things, cisterns already hewn, vineyards, olive orchards and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and became fat and delighted themselves in your great goodness."他们得了坚固的城邑，肥美的地土，充满各样美物的房屋，凿成的水井，葡萄园、橄榄园，并许多果木树。他们就吃而得饱，身体肥胖，因你的大恩，心中快乐。
