Nicholas Nickleby Chapter 11

In which we are introduced to the thoughtful and gentle preparations undertaken by Newman Noggs to welcome Mrs. and Miss Nickleby into a new, somewhat gloomy residence in the city, amidst the tender and somewhat amusing reflections of family and friends. The chapter gently paints a scene of hopeful beginnings shaded by anxious forebodings, illuminated by quiet acts of kindness and a susceptibility to fanciful fears.
