Nicholas Nickleby Chapter 15

In which we find our young hero, weary and wearied, received with scant but sincere hospitality by his devoted friend, as they exchange grave news and prepare for the trials that lie ahead. Meanwhile, the domestic scene below is enlivened by a series of comic and touching interruptions, culminating in a midnight rescue that endears Nicholas ever more deeply to his inadvertent witnesses.
