Nick Monzi Talks Learn Fresh And The Importance Of STEM

CEO and Co-Founder of Learn Fresh, Nick Monzi sits down to talk to me about his company, Learn Fresh. He talks about how in this digital age we lose the human connection, but we need to spend more time together. Nick and I talk about the latest events that Learn Fresh has coming up where they are working with Major League Baseball. Lastly, we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.  About Nick Monzi Nick Monzi currently serves as CEO and Co-Founder of Learn Fresh. Learn Fresh is an international education nonprofit dedicated to enhancing student’s STEM and social-emotional achievement through sports and entertainment. Since the organization's founding, he has worked with global corporations, leading school districts, and national and regional after-school providers. Since its launch in Cleveland during the fall of 2013, the experience has expanded to include initiatives with 30 professional sports teams and over 950,000 students. Aside from his work with Learn Fresh, Nick also has an extensive background in music education, specifically through Drum Corps International. Nick was a brass performer with the Carolina Crown and Blue Devils, earning DCI’s silver medal with both groups. He also served as a conductor for the Phantom Regiment and since 2012, served on the education staff for the Madison Scouts of Madison, WI. From 2015 until his “retirement” in 2023, he served in leadership roles for the group, most recently as Educational Director.
