The Braw and The Brave is a podcast about people and their passions. Episode 110 is in conversation with singer/songwriter Nico Ev. Encouraged by a friend to enter her first ever songwriter competition a little over two years ago (which she subsequently won!) she has gone on to write a catalogue of original material, performing at Celtic Connections, the TRON Theatre and various venues across Glasgow. A seasoned performer in cover bands, the leap in to songwriting has opened up a whole world of opportunities and collaborations which Nico Ev has embraced, with her debut EP ‘Hunter’ due for release later this year. A secondary school music teacher, she recognises the importance of pursuing passions and making space for creativity in your life.
