[#14 Puntata] 4 chiacchiere con Nicola Lavenuta, CEO & Co-Founder Macnil GTAlarmQuesta Settimana nella nostra rubrica La tecnología Made in Italy abbiamo il piacere di parlare di parlare di Macnil GTAlarm una storica azienda pugliese nata 23 anni fa dalla visione di 2 grandissimi professionisti MAC (Mariarita Costanza) e NIL (Nicola Lavenuta) che, fondendo le loro vite prima e poi le loro iniziali, diedero vita a questa azienda #madeinitaly di grande successo, trasformandosi in una IoT Mobility and Security company, specializzandosi successivamente in antifurti satellitari, scatole nere GT Alarm e sistemi di gestione, controllo e sicurezza di flotte aziendale con il loro prodotto GT FLEET 365.La storia di due giovani ragazzi, Nicola Lavenuta e Mariarita Costanza appunto, una visionaria laureata in ingegneria elettronica e delle comunicazioni presso l’università di Bari. La sua tesi di laurea nel 1999 parlava dell’uso degli SMS nel mondo aziendale, mentre Nicola era responsabile IT in un azienda di Modena. Di lì a poco ne divenne il mentore di Mariarita. In questa tesi Mariarita aveva profetizzato che un giorno gli SMS potevano essere utilizzati per fini di comunicazione ed informare le persone su tante delle azioni che effettuano ogni girono, tipo quando usano una carta di credito o un accesso a un portale bancario certificandone l’identità…assolutamente qualcosa che nel 1999 era una visione futuristica, ma che oggi è all’ordine del giorno. Con il tempo, e incitati da tante persone che trovavano questa idea di grande futuro, i 2 fondatori decisero di lasciare le loro attività e creare la Macnil con base in Gravina in Puglia, dove oggi ci lavorano più di 100 persone in una sede di 4.500 m2, un vero e proprio campus che sembra più tipico di una grande azienda americana della Silicon Valley ma che invece è una realtà radicata nella talentosa “Murgia Valley”.per seguire tutta l'intervista www.softwareitaliani.com
