Nicole Blair
from Talk Design
Today on TALKdesign I'm joined by Nicole Blair from Austin, Texas. In 2004, she founded Studio 512, an award-winning architecture and construction firm in Austin. Blair's work has been published extensively, notably her 2015 project The Hive, which was featured in Architectural Record and her 2018 project Lincoln Chapel, which was featured on the cover of Texas Architect. Studio 512 has won AIA awards at both the state and local level and the firm was longlisted for a Dezeen international design award. In 2019, the Texas Society of Architects named Studio 512 one of 10 Emerging Practices to watch, and Blair was included in Elle Decor Magazine's A-list of Architecture as one of the 18 greatest living architects in the world alongside several Pritzker Prize winners. And now, Studio 512 is one of the selected architectural firms for the AIA Austin Homes Tour 2020. https://www.studio512.net/
