and welcome to another episode of Gymnasticsville. We back again. I'm your host Midnight Robin and we've had a few weeks off but we're gonna get right to it today. We have a fantastic show in store for everyone.

Y'all know him. Carrie Adderley is in the birds nest from Orlando Florida. How you doing Carrie? Y'all I'm doing great you know it's a you know another great day and happy to be out here being safe and yeah I mean welcome back it's been a minute but back on the podcast man let's go.

Alright alright and this next guest has been a long long time coming. We're really excited to have her on to the show. She's one of the top leaders in the industry. A great gymnastics mind.

We have Nicole Langervin in the birds nest today. How you doing Nicole? I'm good. I'm good.

Thanks for having me on guys. Awesome awesome. So we're gonna get right to it and obviously with everything going on right now with this pandemic I kind of wanted to start off the show with that because around the country there has been nothing going on in terms of you know kids and in gyms and a lot of people right now a lot of gyms a lot of athletes right now really training in their homes and this can be a trying time for for athletes of all of all ages all levels with you know stay and motivated and with everything going on. So I guess the first thing is is that Nicole what are your thoughts on everything that's going on right now?

Well like everyone else in the world you know it's hard we're not gonna lie it's frustrating but you know what we have to our advantage is that we are either current or former gymnast which means we're the most resilient people in the whole tree and we're we're we're we're persistent we're hard-working and we're resilient so you know we all got to pull on that experience and do what we do as gymnasts and fight through. You know I look at it kind of like every athlete had an issue with some sort of injury right so whether it's a big one or a small one and you don't stop training you find a way to get better so you know if you got your ankles busted well you're gonna end up being a lot better on bars than you would have been if you haven't heard of people. So you know in this situation I just feel like we've got to look at this we're all injured right now we all have the same injury so what are we gonna do that we wouldn't have normally been able to do and you know they're saying like there's detail work they're they're saying like working on non-value park deductions that athletes that are in the gym all the time doing everything sometimes don't have the time to do that because they're working on upgraded and getting skills and they don't have time to find change but now it's a time fine tune at home like I want to see a whole crop of athletes come back and be the most detail oriented be the most artistic that they've ever been because they've had the opportunity to work on that. That's a good way to look about it because you know I was you know I was even just thinking you know how did one one's beginning when they when the gyms closed down and you know they're sitting at home I'm sure it had to be like appeared when they were just kind of in shock you know how long did that last you know how long did last for you and then to kind of get back going again throughout this.

Yeah definitely a shock you know there's just like gym owners you know we've got businesses to run so you think oh my gosh I'm gonna survive and then when you realize that that stuff is a little bit out of your control you you start going back to you know what's really missing and it's the connection and the passion and so you go after that you know I know with with precision what we've done is gone okay we can't get into the gym we can't run events you know we can do we can connect with athletes and so it's just like fight or flight type things you know you figure out what can you do and then you jump on that so you know these virtual sessions and and just being able to see athletes faces even though it's on a computer screen and talk about gymnastics you know like we are right now it's therapeutic to just do what we love even though it's totally different way and it's not you know financially beneficial but at least we can see our souls a little bit by you know talking about our sport and keeping in life so I would say you know for me the shock was still here that part didn't go away but it's just a decision to go cable what can I do and just focus on that and Kerry I have a question for you because you managed some of the current guys right now you know you would hour calling and showing how those guys dealing with this right now because those guys are in the running for 2020 or 2021 now you know you know these guys are they're doing that they are actually trying to find a way to stay sharp and work on things while they're at home you know making choices whether it's rehab you know we have an old injuries you know stand focused with every little thing that you can do you know like when the cold was saying earlier you know a lot of people trying to find two things and make it right and that's what some of these guys are already doing but also you know looking at other opportunities to you know help out in the community and give back you know I think it's been a great reflection period for all of those guys to really see how blessed you know when you're at the gym and have that opportunity to train at the gym and now you're at home and trying to figure out ways to you know you really can't train elite gymnastics at home so you know that's that's just a hard thing there I mean unless you know now some of our guys they got a pommel horse a a pommel horse at a youth place so they're able to train and so that's cool that you can do some elite gymnastics on pommel horse but then it leaves you know tumbling and rings high I mean high bar parallel bars you know there's so many events that you don't even get to training you just kind of have to work on basics yeah just basics and lines and that's it you know until you can get into gym and and hope that you know it's not too doesn't take too long to kind of get back into floor things so but yeah you know I think they're doing their best and hopefully these guys will continue to heal up and it gives them more time to be prepared for 2021 and I have another thing to talk about and I guess Nicole this is more directed to you right now because you mentioned you know virtual sessions and and I've kind of seen that going on with someone in top gymnast as well do you think these virtual sessions or something that opened up a market for it to continue you know once hopefully we get through this pandemic is this something that's here to stay or do you think this is maybe just a bad going on in the industry right now that's a not a great question on you know I I try to live by especially in my work limitations on creativity so we've got a huge limitation on us right now and we got real creative and so yes it has come out of it and it's not the virtual session didn't exist before is it now we need them so they're getting better and they're getting more effective and more streamlined when when things get back which they will and they're gonna get back into stated you know it's not gonna be okay get back into the gym 30 hours we can do that in the course it's it's gonna be partial things so I'm my understanding or my prediction is that a lot of gyms whether it's recreational or competitive are still gonna do kind of a balance in these things we're right now it's a hundred percent new and zero time in the gym but I think this is gonna become a supplement to these athletes as they're easing their way back into the gym and things are starting to go through the phases and they can do more and more I think we're still gonna need it and then there's a benefit of it so let's fast forward I hate to predict time times of things because I'm not scientists so let's just say when when things are back in the normal I think we're gonna find that things like you know like we're doing with precision we're doing our Artistry Academy that is a great supplement to a full-on training regimen because they even when they are full on training they don't have time to do it mental training you know a lot of athletes are going back and working on the brain well there's no reason to stop doing that now they're just gonna see the benefit so I think as a supplement when we're slowly back into things there is going to I think people are gonna see the needing keep that part going for those non-physical not as physical things we don't need to be in the gym and then until then as we're transitioning I think it's gonna be you know 50 and then 70 30 and you know what I mean so yeah I think it's here to stay I don't know if you're to say at the you know it's the extent of the right now how about your take care what are your thoughts of yeah I agree you know I agree that it is a fat well I believe it's a fat you know just because of the lack of everything not being open and so yeah we'll see you know how long is this gonna take in the phases to that's another unknown you know these phases of opening I'm hearing a lot in different type of work work environments and that's still kind of unknown you know because not a scene cases go up as they're reopening you know so it's it's still a delicate balance and who really knows how long it could take but I think I think it'll be a fast where as long as everything shut down to be able to have you know if you can't have 50 people in gym you know gyms will be really be able to sustain like that you know how can you have you know 20,000 square foot gym and only allow you know so many people in you know usually you want to get as many people in the gym as possible so restrictions like that going on I think for a while I don't know maybe it will be here for a little while longer till you know a few more months but we will see you know I think it's still just a big question mark okay now I want to talk about and I just always want to take a second to talk about this show because we haven't talked about it yet is that with all this going on the college athletic season is over for this year for 2020 all the programs in college were not able to either defend or to contend for national titles but I'm glad the you know the NCAA and college gymnastics they're at least given out the award so at least the seniors that have finished their seasons early at least get something you know and that's what I can only imagine being in their shoes being a senior being a month away from NCAA championships your senior year and you don't get that opportunity it definitely would leave but just you know obviously it's no one's fault but it definitely leaves a sour taste in your mouth especially if you were playing on retiring from this board and most of these these young women from college after their you know careers over that that's it so but so when I talk a bit about Kyle Rojas she won the 2020 Honda award and Maggie Nichols who won the prestigious AI award and I just want to maybe get we can start with it you Carrie just your thoughts on Maggie Nichols and Kyle Rojas and what they have done with their careers over the last four years and you know what they mean to NCAA women's gymnastics well I think that it definitely ramped up a lot over the last their last generation you know NCAA gymnastics they're been going back and forth winning NCAA championships I mean Kyle is getting tens Maggie's getting tens it's really been unprecedented and for me even living in Oklahoma City during a period of time where I could go to a couple of the women's gymnastics meets there at the Loi Noble Center in Norman it was just amazing you know they do the whole production and seeing that I wish I'd get a chance to you know see UCLA compete but it was just great and you know they were amazing for the last four years and you know to be so close and you know having a stop it definitely hurts and I think that you know this is I'm glad that they're getting their words and now you know who knows who knows what's in store for them now because you know going into their professional career whether it's as an influencer in sports or just like you said retiring you know they got a lot of options and yeah just you know maybe they it's no way they would give them another season you know if they let them compete a little bit longer that would be interesting but you know who knows but I think they did an amazing job and I think that they deserve a proper send off but that way Nicole your thoughts on Ross and Nichols oh I agree I mean as far as you know them being awarded and recognized right now so glad that they were able to get that you know the college gymnastics reviews athlete especially the elites and even a lot of the tends to but especially the you know it's that's their that's their celebratory time that's where they you know you see the joy of them competing and so they did get that you know we don't want to forget that they did get that they got you know multiple years of being able to compete in this place where they you could see it you could hear it when they talk you could see it in their eyes and see them their gymnastics they got to experience gymnastics on their terms and feel joy so you know let's celebrate that too and I think there's something to be said for unfinished business there really is if you look at people that are you know they've done amazing things a lot of times you'll find out that was a result of unfinished business where you know they got to go back and use that fire is it easy to you know sit down and go all that sucks and pour me but I don't think they're those type of people they wouldn't have gotten as far as they are say where I think they're gonna use that that feeling of unfinished business and they didn't get to have that closure and I think they're gonna do even think and I guess that they wouldn't have gotten as far as they are if they were athletes that didn't know how to you know use that fire for fuel so I'm excited to see what they do I wish they could have gotten you know the fairy tale ending but they're gonna have something better now yeah that's that's why I mean yeah you're right you can't you can't forget they've had an amazing three and a half years probably some of the greatest seasons ever for me it was at least a nice finish when it came to the awards because really you know when you look at the last four years that Russell Nichols have been involved with the college scene it's really been UCLA Oklahoma going at it the last four years so it makes sense for these for these women to get these awards at the end of the year and so I want to transition a little bit Nicole with your company Precision Corio can you just because you guys have been really doing some amazing things and having great events and over the last years can you kind of just talk about a little bit about your company yeah thank you I appreciate that you know we are we started as a choreography company a really long time about I did by myself and over the years just been able to make great connections but and hopefully you know make some great impact on different athletes and coaches to the point where now we are a company that has got two full-time employees and about 23 independent contractors around the country so able to reach more and more athletes and it's not just for a chance they just choreography it's not only choreography anymore we do training camps and also do shorter specialized workshops everything that we do is really based on coaches education and athlete experience so I kind of joke our camps are you know they're like Congress is disguised as camp you know you know we go in I bring in the top people as far as coaches and clinicians and we are educating the coaches on how to use their own equipment so that's what kind of nice we go into the gym to run these events we don't know we don't come to us and so when we leave you know they're able to know okay we can get this done with our own you know athletes you know they're the demonstrators they get a kick-ass workout hopefully they're able to make improvements on the spot as well but we're very aware that it's not going to help anybody for us to be you know like the grandparents that come in and you know everybody has a great time that we leave it's got to be the parents and in this case the coaches there's no one's gonna wear them every day so our events are really focused on making sure that we're helping the coaches you know get gain the tools gain the knowledge getting better than they were before we got there so that they could keep doing it after we're gone so we travel basically North America I'd love to say all over the world that's the goal doing these workshops and camps and you know even if we're focusing on you know tumbling higher faulting more power involved we're always implementing artistry because I've ended eight after the heart and soul of precision is artistry and you can be artistic on bars believe it or not so that's a big part of who you are as well so I'm looking on your website precision choreo dot com okay and you're working with some of the you know the best minds in the industry and you know I just want to name a few because I'm really big fans you know Alicia Sacraman Chelsea Mimo Krista Miloney those are a few liping they kind of jump jump out of my mind I mean so my first question is about Chelsea because lately I've just been so impressed with Chelsea because she still can do stuff like what is she's doing right now in social media it's absolutely amazing so if you just kind of talk about Chelsea Mimo you know your relationship with her and how is she still one of the best gymnasts in the country Chelsea is not normal and I mean that's nice it's way possible she's that so first of all Chelsea Chelsea came on I have another business called my gym judge and that is where we provide a not source we really clear on that we do not get bored but we provide feedback and we do it virtually we do written feedback we do virtual judging and we actually do workshops in the gym as well and I brought to help you on a contract to judge a while ago and as of last year she has taken ownership with me so she's a co-owner of my gym judge now but that's something that's one part of the relationship the other part is that she is one of my one of my top camp clinicians for precision and so what I got to witness this past year is Chelsea having fun getting in shape and you know how did you former gymnast get in shape doing conditioning and doing gymnastics and she was just able to see what she could still do and that felt really cool you know she's had two kids and didn't really think that her body could do these things and the stronger she got and the braver she got you know things just started happening pretty naturally so you know the joke that we have is you know you can do anything as long as you challenge her to do it so we were we were at a camp one time and this is she had just gotten into shape really wasn't really doing a lot of tricks and we were doing a camp at Boston and they had to be in the high beam but it had like a wide pad on it and she's on the line going side-area layout stuff or something and me and Shira who is my my second commanding precision we joke if you say Chelsea say it out loud to do it on a high beam it's gonna happen within five minutes so we did it we joked and we said it's not very funny to get it on the high beam and you could just be the wheels turn and within five minutes you know they're doing it and the next day it was funny if you did you know it's canceling out on that beam over there and then she's like how do I get to it so that's a thing she she can't say no to a challenge and that's what you're seeing out you know she gets this idea of when it cool if and the next thing you know she's actually doing it she's doing double double-raving or lay out double-raving to my house and not a camper just out of with maybe funny if and the next thing you know she's doing it and she's doing a drive-around her hamster she's not doing a good bike she does stuff and she does a full-on so I you know I get a lot of Facebook messages text messages asking you know she really coming back she's going to the Olympics and all I can say is Chelsea's just one day at a time trying to do stuff and enjoying it and you never you never can't put cap on her so I think she's just she's just yeah you know I love that and just hearing you talk about that just lets me think that in the future we need to have some type of a platform I mean it doesn't have to be like super competitive but to be able to get Chelsea memo maybe a NASA that you can you know some of these other gymnastics that are still in shape and just you know forget about doing a routine you know I mean routines are great but just individual skills and just leaving it at that I mean I don't know what do you think of that idea they try to do that professional challenge thing yeah I think they did something like that I didn't really watch it too much I knew it was that I just he was putting it on great idea just let's keep it going right yeah yeah definitely I think some of the guys would show it to you yeah yeah we love that about the guys but let's talk about the guys Nicole because I love your women talk about guys gymnastics because at least on gymnastics bill we get a lot of perspectives from other men that have been in the industry or former gymnast or fans of it but I always like to hear feedback from women in the sport as now to boys yourself so what are your thoughts of mini gymnastics well personally I love it I'll give you a fact right now it's the hardest world in the world I'm not sure if you're aware of that but man gymnastics is the hardest important world I it's the most underrated and it's just the most incredible and you know I'm beat the dead horse with a comment but I've got to figure out how to market it properly and you know as far as what they're doing it's they're doing it they're doing the most incredible movement that can be done by human being and actually be celebrated so you know I think that the problem is you know how do we how do we get people to see it the way that we say and I don't really answer to that but you know it's it's scary to watch the numbers dwindle and it's you know I know that we're trying to do what we can to keep alive I do not ever plan to be an expert in men gymnastics I don't know half the names of terms for the skills to be honest with you but you know I do know that there's a place in my heart for it a lot of people that work for me or that are friends with dedicated so much of their lives to it and still do and I just want to be a stay life and that's got to happen you know they're having college it's different than women's you know we've got we've got our timeline where these girls and hopefully it'll change with the rules changing for NCAA with you know professional and everything and everything and not having that choice but you know it's still it's you know doing it peaking trying to go that'll be tracked trying to go to the Olympics or trying to get national team world team whatever and then college is kind of the party afterwards as far as the lead gymnastics goes and then you got you know they're doing it in college and then doing it at the same time going to Olympic so it's college gymnastics guys gonna die with it so we got to get we got to get club coaches and athletes understanding what they need to do you know their part to be successful in college and then get these colleges to get their you know get their acts together and then fund this thing you know Justin Spring is a such an amazing resource and wealth of knowledge in that area you know he's he talked about you know I don't I don't need it all around her you know I need I need this this and this and so you know for these club coaches to understand if they want to get more guys successfully in college listen to what the college coaches need you know doesn't mean drop all your events but listen to what they need you know let's all work together let's see the system working together I'm starting from the beginning you know train them to kick out in college I don't know how the funding is gonna happen you know it's a whole other job to try to figure that out but just structurally speaking you know everybody from the beginning the college sitting to be at least working together for that thing because it's all do you think I got a question here tonight do you think that and this is for Unicode do you think that the men's gymnastics is overshadowed in any type of way by either Olympic gold that women's gymnastics usually get or the by the popularity of women's college gymnastics do you think that combination those things just overshadow it or do you or you think that maybe it's just a public perception of you know getting the public to really understand and how how intricate and actually great athletes these guys are you know I think they're two different kind of things whether it's a kind of a knowledge-based thing and ones like maybe overshadowing of obviously winning you know so you think you do those things could be a combination why men's gymnastics hasn't going forward in that light yes yes and yes nice nice well yeah tell me yeah just what kind of you know expand on that a little bit I mean yeah it's a cycle though you know women's gymnastics is yes they tend to perform better at your Olympics right now sidebar I don't know if it's just me but what I've noticed is that the men and women trials are freaking phenomenal like they seem to peak there and then I don't know what happens after you either way more knowledgeable about men gymnastics than I am but that's just a sidebar that's an nice observation though that's a good observation I didn't look at it like that but yeah you're right they do great at trial and it's like yeah what happens I agree oh my god every trial I'm like man it's the world can see this I think of it I'm gonna do that there I kill it and then it's like oh I happen to you know so the man the women get the gold everything you know you get your four year fans you see the women metal and then they go oh I want to see what that but then maybe the game fans in the three years and then between and then don't do that so that's like that moment that you have the audience which is the Olympics that's when you have your four year fans that's when you that's your opportunity that's your Super Bowl commercial is the Olympic Games so that's their chance that I don't need to say that their jobs are making a commercial for our sport but just perception wise you know you've got the Olympics happening you've never watched gymnastics before and so now they're gonna decide if they like the border and you know is my country quote unquote good well when they don't metal even though you guys and I know that they're amazing you've now lost those fans because I guess they don't know what they're looking at and so they'll now do game fans that maybe you're gonna then be invested to follow them later on so I think that that again it's just it's a cycle and then because of that you know you had a clinical women sport so now you're looking at guys doing a women sport instead of maybe basketball where you go oh that's what they're doing in sports it just it flips the perception and it's the paradigm you know so I think if we somehow you know there was just that year that the men went in and it just freakin dominated and it made headlines people are gonna want to watch that one you're gonna want to learn about it and then maybe by doing that they'll start actually understand it okay I got another question for you Nicole and I want to apologize to all the listeners right now because I know you all don't like when I asked this question but I'm gonna ask Nicole because that's choreography so I have to throw it out there yes your thoughts on the men adding music to their floor routine I know no one likes to talk about it or I know I upset a lot of men with this question but I just want to hear your viewpoint no doing it you know always like that that's our innovation happens like I think that I'm just gonna be very candid here I think the reason people don't like it is because it's gonna be viewed as quote unquote early I'm not thinking of what I think I think that's where people are like oh if they you know they do that well then it's they're doing what the girl do but who the hell knows what if somebody got out there and did it and just put a whole new spin on it and made it you know made it something different what if a guy got out there and just gave it gave us gonna we never would have thought and we went oh we don't know now do we want to you know we want them to go out and just do what the girl heard you know I don't like what have to go over doing anyway but as far as you know maybe they can do it in a way that's just gonna raise the level or maybe not I don't know and I think it's got to be up to you know who's that guy out there that thinks you can do it in a way that's good maybe awesome you know what I say I say you're right it's how people view it and maybe I haven't given audience a picture of what it could look like but let's just say okay for hypothetical reasons you mix Usher with hold on let me think of the chibis here Usher with let's say Steven lasandra come on right yeah I don't care what your thoughts Usher mix with Steven lasandra I mean I don't know I mean is that is that feeling good to you or what I was gonna go more like a like a like a Christian Brown or like a crump dancer you know I'm saying I'm thinking more like a like a street hip-hop dancer in like Donald Wittenberg just being a crazy b-boy you know saying that's where I'm at I'm more than or just whatever your style is you know maybe we got a dub stepper you know I'm saying and he's just a great twisting you know tumbler like Kenzo Shurai so I don't know I'm all for all types of mixes but I think that's what we need in our athletes to really embrace you know their personalities and you know tap into that because that's what's gonna make this next level I think I can't wait for it you know I'm all for it I want music you know even if you're not even like it's like being okay like NCAA women's being right they put music to those routine even though they're not hitting their the maybe are actually being the going being to the actual cadence of the song like in like in break dancing but but at least I know where you they allow every single one of their athletes to have their own favorite music playing their own music playing while they do their being routine and it's great and usually on beam it's always a little bit obviously floors like you know they want everybody start clapping but on beam it's kind of like almost it's just more summer it's more easy you know it's more chill type of song you know like country songs or you know ballads stuff like that so I think it's great and it's a great ambiance thing so people can kind of be jamming while they're watching the routine and then wow you know especially then she hits her routine they're going crazy they're screaming for a team you know because they had overall great experience just watching them do their routine so you know I think I think we've definitely needed even if it's not like just let the guy choose just like in a X games when they do their runs hey the guy plays whatever favorite song you want to play just let him play the song that reflects him while he does his routine so I don't necessarily think it even has to be musically to the music it just needs to you know let them choose a song that reflects them you know that could be a way to start it you know it's worth a shot I mean what's yeah exactly anything's worth this shot at this point not working the way it is right working in terms of their freaking phenomenal athletes but it's not like oh we're gonna lose viewers if we do it out of the world's popularity so let's do something different you know and think about like these damn shows that are on right these guys that do all these different styles and people go nuts over it's amazing and then they do a front aerial and everybody loses their mind I know okay look at what you can imagine right look down a little bit imagine a little bit of style in there a little bit more performance and then they do their you know yeah so for a jim so for at least jim is to actually we just have to dumb it down yeah you know don't even have to do a triple twist or whatever I just do it don't fool do it one and a half you know do a nice fool kick out yeah I mean that's a good point I can't really count the number of twist kenzo does I know how many twists he does let's be real I personally can't count that all right well hey I got a question I got a question okay who's your favorite men's gymnast in United States of America me yeah yeah can I say all of them now you gotta pick okay I give you I'll give you a top three right now we're not gonna give you a top five we pick three pick three any order these are no particular order I can tell you I was your favorite now who you watching right now who catches your eye whether it's you know the top things that I like okay okay Oklahoma dismount okay I don't know how that is Oklahoma I did the room one they stick everything yeah yeah okay okay okay Oklahoma distance now I don't know how he peeks but Le John's or tumbling because it always look like there was just an extra half on everything that wasn't supposed to be there I mean that in a really good way true he did so that was great to watch you will just the lightness the effortlessness and then uh uh texture with him you guys just but I'm not I'm not gonna we're very good I brought up dinner with him yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I know I know you know I love Washington's gymnastics but I love Washington get ready for his own gymnastics and I love watching him congratulate everybody else and I know that's probably such a growing thing today but it's one of my favorite things to watch lives it's just the intensity he has with himself and then you know he's not a jump around you know come on guys but that's genuine you know love that he has her people and they come out of the names really cool to watch too all right okay all right okay let's go international and this could be all time past the present you know anybody international gymnastics so did you remember growing up watching as a means gymnast that was good um should tell us you're about the one that made me really like realize how cool men's gymnastics was so was that 92 yeah I mean I started gymnastics because of Vitaly so now you know Vitaly is demon he's yeah so his gymnastics was the first thing that made me watch and to be honest as a you know so 92 as well I didn't like gymnastics I thought I thought you know I didn't get it and it wasn't as cool as I was doing that's what I thought the 12 and then I saw him and just went oh wow it just it looks different something about what he was doing was look different and then he stuck all the way into that was cool to watch and that's my first big impression of wow you know then it's not marriage and anthem and I you know seeing Kenzo live was probably one of the one of the coolest things being him on floor life was pretty mainly oh I think that was a Montreal that's great and it's great you brought American anthem because I've been talking to Kerry for you know a few few weeks now about this but I feel like you know LeBron right now is doing like a space jam to Jordan did it initially I just feel like there should be like a new version of American anthem I just feel like American anthem to who's in the 80s dude you have to like make it that purpose that's a part I wanted to be good I wanted to be made bad on purpose I wouldn't want the dub I wouldn't want the you know the full twists and triple back this now to be like you know we got John the Horton he can actually do you know you can actually do that so we wouldn't need to dub a guy doing a fully a bad we do not need to look that bad absolutely that absolutely I think we can have great gymnastics but like the storyline got to be kind of bad to have a big deal we'll be talking about it the same way if it's like a little beach film I see what you're saying I see what you're saying it's a big comical okay I got you nice any else he rad back in the day bark on her was in it any I remember I was like a BMX bike racer oh yeah I was one of my dad's the one that one all right we're gonna have to find out how our listeners can watch rad I think everyone should watch it bar counters in it you know it's like a racing bike BMX he's pretty cool I like that's a good movie all right but but yeah Nicole I just want to thank you for coming on but before we end the show I just want you just let her listeners know kind of little you know one more time just kind of what your company does and how they can get a hold of you for some of the services that you provide yeah I don't think you know so like you said before it's precision choreo dot com we do choreography we do training camps the three and a half day training camps that happen in gym we also do our specialized workshops that are one single day so they're focused on one really specific component of gymnastics so we have one for instance called details matter and its entire data focuses on on value parts on being in floor as well as presentation during this coronavirus situation we've developed a few things to try to help out as well so if you go to YouTube backslash precision choreo there's a series of videos on their right now called artistry training there are three like 30 minute videos and for coaches and athletes you can follow along with and focus on rhythm and dynamic on being footwork on form being creative movement we've also just opened up our Artistry Academy and that's a virtual class that's been really cool it's a zoom class the athletes meet three times a week for two weeks and it's structured so I think that's what a lot of gymnastics are missing so it's not just going on and watching a video when you feel like it you show up for class and you're putting a class with athletes from all over the world and then they actually get paired with someone to do a homework assignment you've got a kid in Massachusetts and another kid in Alberta Canada and they have to get together on their off day via zoom or FaceTime or whatever and they actually do artistry homework assignments together so that's been a really cool opportunity to you know connect people when we're not connected and also you know when they're done with the course they get a little graduation ceremony their friends and families can jump on and watch them graduate and you'll hopefully they go back to the gym better than they were before so that's some of the stuff we're doing now on the my gym judge side which is the company I own which Elsie Memel we have my gym judge calm so we are doing virtual judging we're doing feedback sessions we're doing phone con self with coaches that want to talk about the code and figure out key construction and then I've also got like a champ which is a company I own with Alicia's Acromony and we are a we are a resource for gyms looking for some coaches which everybody is some point as that's where a coach comes in for a week or a month it filled in basically that we also have work for freelance or represent for the land gymnastics professionals so coaches that are you know wanting to spend their their time sharing their knowledge going into different gyms in a clinician capacity or working camps and things like that so those are the three sites precision choreo my gym judge and like a champ and lastly we've got a really cool event well I'm not putting it on but there's a really cool event coming up a living through the piece it's called resilience 2020 and it is basically a virtual congress the people who have put it together in curry to react with it right from future gymnastics to Canada put it together the technology is awesome the lineup of preventer presenters is awesome John's important is not it you guys mentioned him I'll be speaking at it and a bunch of our like a champ client will be speaking at it as well Wendy Bruce jumping memo during Mojo so that's gonna be a really awesome opportunity for coaches to get that missing education that they were wanting to get this summer so really in 2020 is a main that should be flipped around social media probably today awesome awesome awesome well I like to thank you for coming on to the show and we definitely have you on again yeah thanks for what you guys are doing too it's really needed you know more perspective and especially you know I know you cover all gymnastics but it's so cool to have so much information and passionate about men's gymnastics being shared and I know I'm not an expert I don't pretend to be but a huge fan and that's how I found you guys so thank you for your program awesome thank you thank you
