Een overzicht van het belangrijkste mobiliteitsnieuws met onder meer aandacht voor de verkoop van nieuwe motoren, de vrachtwagenheffing en speed pedelecs. De verkoop van nieuwe motoren is in de eerste helft van dit jaar gestegen tot het hoogste niveau sinds 2009, blijkt uit cijfers van brancheorganisaties BOVAG en RAI Vereniging. In totaal werden er 9837 motorfietsen geregistreerd, een stijging van 6,4 procent vergeleken met dezelfde periode een jaar eerder. Verder in de mobility-update: De terugkeer van reizigers in het OV neemt volgens ING Research meer tijd in beslag. De Eerste Kamer heeft ingestemd met de Vrachtwagenheffing. Het aantal speed pedelecs in Nederland is in ruim twee jaar tijd flink toegenomen.
