Nigel Sylvester's Excellent Adventure

BMX legend and cultural icon, Nigel Sylvester, joins the crew on this week's episode of Say Less. On the heels of the release of his self-titled book "Nigel Sylvester: Go," the multi-hyphenate entrepreneur speaks to Low, Kaz and Jake about his one-of-a-kind career and how he found life on a bike. He speaks in depth about his mentor, the late Dave Mirra, and how his lifestyle inspired Nigel to chase different goals than BMX athletes around the world. Sylvester explains how his Queens-upbringing made him a Hip-Hop staple alongside the likes of Pharrell, Kid Cudi, JAY Z, Greg Yuna and many more. Nigel Sylvester also breaks down many of his incredible brand collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand, Mercedes Benz, and his viral ride-outs that he's put together at landmarks all across the world. This is an eye-opening look into the life of one of the most impactful action sports athletes of our generation. 00:01:54 - The First BMX Athlete Signed To Jordan Brand 00:04:20 - The Creation Of His Book "Nigel Sylvester: Go" 00:05:50 - Staying True To Himself When Going Corporate 00:08:00 - Greg Yuna and Nigel Sylvester's Brotherhood 00:23:00 - How He Explained His BMX Career To His Parents 00:27:30 - Dave Mirra Taking Nigel Sylvester Under His Wing 00:33:00 - How Music Influences Nigel's Creativity 00:43:00 - Let's Talk About "The Punch" -- Follow Say Less: Watch the full video of the podcast on YouTube.com/Kazeem Hosts: @Kazeem, @LowKeyUHTN and @ItsRosy @SayLessKazLowRosy, @kazeem, @lowkeyuhtn, @itsrosy - Instagram @SayLessKazLow, @kazeem, @lowkeyuhtn, @itsrosy - Twitter @SayLessKazLowRosy, @kazeemfamuyide, @LowUHTN, @itisrosy - TikTok
