Nigerian National Accused of Human trafficking in Polokwane

Police and community members gathered at a house in Lehae La Batho outside Polokwane, Limpopo following allegations of human trafficking and kidnapping. It is alleged that a Nigerian national who has been renting a property in the area recruited young men and women, aged between 19 and 23, to sell policies on the streets. Some of the young people found at the house reportedly told authorities that they had been living there after being recruited by the man since 2022.
