Night Crossing

Night Crossing You—you’ve been tied up too long By politics of the men gone wrong. And you are stuck to the ground you are on There are those who would shoot you down. Get up. Get up. Get out. Get away. The Maker didn’t make it, didn’t mean it this way. Freedom to move you view as heaven sent… Cruel and unusual punishment! You—you’ve been taught to get on With a life set in nowhere. No life at all. No venture. No gain. One thing is sure: No rhyme in your time while sin is in the world. Feel away in the dark to a secret place at night; Summon up some thread, the fabric of your life. And fashion out a giant bag so it will hold hot air. Get it off the ground. Get you out of there. Get it off the ground. Get you out of there. Get it off the ground. Get you out of there. Get up. Get up. Get out . Get away. Forsake those who make you pay and pay and pay. Free-given freedom that is never spent… It's a cruel and unusual punishment! Steal away in the dark to a launching place at night. Summon up your source, the fabric of the Light. Fashion out a giant scheme that can trap hot air. And get it off the ground and get you out of there. And get you out of there. And get you out of there. C: Only your strong belief will fill the balloon. Your unfailing faith will give it lift. With magnetic north pulling the center of you, You fix direction as you outward drift. D: You will sense you are airborne when Passing high over like a trespasser un-noted. And equipped with the skill to out-will the blow And a flight plan written in you, so that you will know as you go. so that you will know as you go. As you go. As you go. As you go.
