According to the Health Justice initiative Global pharmaceutical giants bullied South Africa into securing COVID-19 vaccines worth three-hundred-and-seventy-four million US dollars/ This was during the height of the pandemic. South Africa secret Covid19 vaccine deals which were secret,  were released by the Health Justice Initiative (HJI) following a high court ruling in August ordering the department of health to provide HJI with the contracts it signed with pharmaceutical manufacturers including Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Olivr Dickson spoke to Professor Alex van den Heever -Public health expert in order to understand the inner working of negotiating such contracts. If this is tru, why, would SA, be singled out in this 'bullying'. Could it be that SA could not negotiate for their part? What TS and Cs inform such processes? Are no ethics relating which 'Big Pharma' is to abide by?
