Night time snacking and Netflix binges

from The Strong[HER] Way | Healthy nutrition and habits for moms, routines, strength training for women · host Alisha Carlson, Fitness and Nutrition Coach for Moms

Send us Fan MailHey loves, this week we are talking about night time snacking and binging. This could be Netflix, it could be your phone, it could be work.. really anything that you're over consuming that isn't exactly moving you in the direction you want to go. For most of us, we over consume because we are trying to either feel something we want to feel (often times relaxed/ at ease) or because we are trying to avoid feeling something we don't (exhausted/ stressed/ anxious). The irony is, while over consuming (anything) might feel good in the moment, often times when it is all said and done, we feel the same or worse than we did before. Wah wah wah. If you keep trying to treat the symptom ( the binging or the night snacking) without getting to the root cause, the behavior will either keep coming back in this same area OR it will pop up in other areas of your life. In today's episode, I give you a 3ish step process you can use to stop the night time snacking and the over consumption of Netflix. You can begin to use them immediately or the next time the urge hits. In fact, the best time to work on something is before it's a 'problem'. So get out a sheet of paper and jot down some notes. Then put it to work!Ready to take what you're learning on the podcast even deeper and create even more results? I can help. Email [email protected] or message me on social to set up a consult. On that call I'll help you figure out exactly why you haven't been getting the results you want, and I'll give you a step by step process to show you exactly how to create the results using my non diet approach.  If you want to connect, you can find me on:FB: https://www.facebook.com/thealishacarlsonIG: https://instagram.com/alishacarlson_ LinkedIN: https://linkedin.com/in/alishacarlsonFor inspiration: Pinterest: http://pintrest.com/alishacarlson
