Night Watcher

Night Watcher You watch the night From dark to day You put yourself Beyond the fear and in harm’s way Ready to resist or to join the fight When the innocent sleep your awake to watch the night You carry weapons on your belt To use with your keen sight When the world descends into darkness You’re still standing burning bright You are the luminary Your there to keep things right Standing your ground and watching the night Your only task is to see night go past Without the wicked wales of sorrow Leading the way to the next tomorrow With the spark you carry along Protecting the ember until dawn You watch the night from dark to day You put yourself beyond the fear and in harm’s way You are the luminary your there to keep things right When the innocent sleep your awake to watch the night You carry weapons on your belt to use with your keen sight When the world descends into darkness Your standing there burning bright You are the luminary your there to keep things right Standing your ground and watching the night Night Watcher Night Watcher Night Watcher 2011 Ray Martin Cerimeli
