Nightbooks
from FVRL ReadRadio Podcast Hosted by Fraser Valley Regional Library
Today, Sally has a super-creepy book to tell us about: Nightbooks by J.A. White. It’s a chapter book perfect for kids ages 8 and up. This story is a modern retelling of the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, and it’s an excellent read if you like fairy tales, creepy stories and books with unforgettable characters. “A boy is imprisoned by a witch and must tell her a new scary story each night to stay alive…. Alex's original hair-raising tales are the only thing keeping the witch Natacha happy, but soon he'll run out of pages to read from and be trapped forever.” View this title in the FVRL collection: https://fvrl.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S21C1760799
