Nik Morandi - Head of Strategic Partners Europe at Blackstone

Join us for another brilliant episode at Focal Point where today we are joined by Nik Morandi, the Head of Strategic Partners Europe and a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone. Before his current role, he started his career in M&A at Societe Generale and UBS. In 2007, he started his journey in the Secondaries field at Pantheon Ventures, as a Partner and a member of the firm’s global secondaries investment committee, while leading the firm’s Portfolio Strategy and Research teams. Then, he joined CPPIB as a Senior Principal & European Head of Secondaries, before joining Blackstone in 2020. Nik is an LSE alumnus from the BSc Economics class of 1998 and he then obtained his Master of Philosophy in European Politics and Economics at Oxford University. Recorded in January 2024.
