Nikita Never give up

Nikita shares with us her story of hardship, hope and friendship. She is a single mother who is raising two kids and her oldest son is in the military. Nikita works extremely hard at multiple jobs - three jobs to be exact. When Coronavirus hit the US it made her situation even worse. One of her children ended up getting sick and needed to be hospitalized. Nikita, needing to be there for her child ended up losing her job and the place that she was staying in. She ended up getting a hotel room that is now home and she worked out a deal with the owner of the hotel that she does work for the hotel to help offset the rent. She is working so hard every day to make sure she can take care of her kids. As a single parent this is hard but Nikita talks about how important it is to have friends that can lend a helping hand. When she needs to clear her mind and find some calm in the day she goes for walks by the water and journals her thoughts. This helps her get perspective and work out her fears on paper giving her the ability to show up with strength for her family.
