What this episode covers
Ever wondered if the movie Fame is really what art school is like? Treasure Mallory confirms it is quite the opposite. After losing her corporate job and pursuing any creative opportunity she could to make ends meet, Treasure enrolled in fashion design school to discover her next step. After drawing and draping classes and proving gatekeepers wrong, she found her passion: handbags. Since then, she has transformed her passion and entrepreneurial spirit into Nikki&Mallory, an artisan-made collection and brand of handcrafted leather goods. Tune in to hear how Treasure found the light inside herself and used it to transcend a dark time. It’s not about grinding and non-stop hustle, but tuning out the world and embarking on a journey to find what feeds your soul.
