We're All Terrible at Death | Book Huddle with Nikki Smith

Turns out coffins have fashions. I was told dark wood wasn't in this year. Nikki Smith is a death doula + grief coach. Not a job most of us have heard of, so I ask her what it involves. Then we turn to Caitlin Doughty's From Here to Eternity, on how the rest of the world handles death rather better than we do. We discuss the festival where families bring their dead back out for dinner each year, why Nikki insists on the word death + the one thing to keep with your will that almost nobody thinks of. Bleak subject. Surprisingly good fun. Look for more Book Huddles. And a miniseries from Nikki coming soon.  Books discussed in this episode: From Here to Eternity - Caitlin Doughty Nikki's Website: www.nikkithedeathdoula.com ==== If you’d like my help with your Business go to www.lizscully.com/endlessClients ==== And don’t forget to get your reading list of the 10 essential reads for every successful biz owner - these are the books Liz recommends almost on the daily to her strategy + Mastermind clients.
